Please note that status check will only confirm whether a driver’s license is valid. No personal information will be disclosed. The information contained subject to change at any time.
For those with a suspension of driving privileges, it may take up to 10 business days from the date the DMV Driver Services Division receives your information for processing any documents or payments you recently sent related to any suspensions. If after 10 business days your restoration has not been processed, contact the Driver Services Division at (860) 263-5720.
Be advised that in all circumstances, a driver must physically carry a current, valid operator’s license to operate ANY motor vehicle. If a most recently issued credential is a non-driver identification card, an operator’s license will be required prior to operating any motor vehicle.
If the status of the license is “NOT VALID,” the person may not operate ANY motor vehicle.
If the status of the license or operating privilege is “VALID” but the person has been notified about an upcoming suspension, please recheck the status on or after the date of suspension/disqualification to determine whether the suspension is in effect.
It is the responsibility of the operator to use the information appropriately and consistent within these limitations.
